Hand to Paw was started to help support the many animals waiting to be adopted into their forever home and is based on the simple premise that by helping out wherever possible, we can have a positive effect on animals in a shelter
What is the Hand to Paw Donation Initiative?
As a long time volunteer at Toronto Animal Services South Region I noticed the need for towels, blankets and toys etc...are in high demand, due to the volume of animals that go through the shelter at any one time. The items have a limited life span to ensure the animals stay healthy (by reducing the spread of disease) and comfortable while waiting to be adopted.
What?
We will take
New (yes we will take new!) or gently used: towels, blankets, heating pads, hot water bottles,etc... which will be picked up and delivered to the shelter on your behalf. Click here for a complete list of needed items.
Pick-up!
We will do a pick up at your next scheduled service, and bring the items to the shelter so there is no need for you to make the trip.
Discount!
Becoming a member of the Hand to Paw Donation Initiative not only helps out animals in need, it
earns you a 10% discount off of your next scheduled service!
When?
Currently the Hand to Paw Donation Initiative runs twice a year where we schedule pick up for our clients and delivery to Toronto Animal Services South Region. Please stay tuned for upcoming dates!
